The Lower Falls of Disharoon Creek are located on the side of the jeep trail within the gated community of Big Canoe, Ga. This community is located off Steve Tate Highway between Highway 53 and Highway 136. Hiking can be an easy, mostly flat  three fourths mile from the beginning of the jeep trail or use a four wheel drive vehicle.  Water flow rate is highly seasonal.
